Ethics Session
Carmen Samaniego is a native of San Antonio, Texas. She holds a Bachelor
of Fine Arts in Architectural Design from Univ. of Texas San Antonio, a Master of
Science in Community and Regional Planning from The Univ. of Texas
Austin and her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's School of Law.
Before attending law school Carmen lived over-seas with her husband and two
children for many years. Before that she interned for landscape architects and
architects in San Antonio and worked shortly for the US Corp of Engineers Europe
Center in the planning and environmental section.
Currently she is a member of the Construction Law Section of the San Antonio Bar
Association. She is on the board and was chair for the Women and the Law Section
of the State Bar of Texas; a board member for San Antonio Trial Lawyers, and is a
current board member and past treasurer for the Bexar County Women's Bar
Association and Foundation. She was awarded the Belva Lockwood
Outstanding Young Lawyer in 2005 by the Bexar County Women's Bar.
Carmen is a solo practitioner and concentrates in the areas of civil litigation including
construction law and probate.
Technical Session:
Bradford Heasley, Owner Nadir Geomatics, has worked in the GIS and Remote Sensing field since 1998. His experience includes GIS Analyst in the oil and gas industry, GIS Systems Architect implementing software solutions for the USAF based on the ESRI GIS platform and most recently as an Autodesk Geospatial Technical Specialist. As a geospatial technical specialist with Autodesk Brad consulted with Engineering, Utilities, and Oil & Gas industries leveraging Autodesk technologies to solve complex problems. His experience in CAD & GIS and his vendor-neutral approach are unique among GIS consultants.
